Tartan Sports was founded in 1987 as a golf cart
distributor. Since then, we have been expanding
our product lines, which now includes golf clubs,
carts, bags, accessories, and basically anything
you need for golf. We provide services of wholesale
to pro shops, imprint items for tournaments, company
incentive programs, private label programs and importing
for local distributors.
Kevin Farnham, CEO/
Kevin has been involved with commercial Web design
since its infancy in 1994. Over the past eight years,
he has been involved in the development of more
than 140 Web sites. His primary concentration is
on branding and user experience.
Farnham has developed a comprehensive understanding
of Web development processes, having worked in
the capacity of executive producer, information
architect, interaction designer, interface designer,
art director and project manager. He has worked
with companies such as Apple Computer, Bank of
America, Disney, Gucci, Levi-Strauss, Microsoft,
Nike and Sony.
Prior to founding Method, Kevin created and directed
the Web development department in the San Francisco
office of MetaDesign. He has received awards from
ID Magazine, Communication Arts Magazine, How
Magazine, Print magazine, the ACD 100 Show, and
numerous other honors from professional organizations
and publications . A frequent speaker and instructor,
Kevin is heavily involved in bringing user-centered
methodologies to a broader audience.
Patrick Newbery, Managing Partner, San Francisco/
Patrick Newbery has experience in brand strategy,
information architecture, interaction design,
and graphic production (print and electronic).
Patrick was a Production Director at Fitch in
Boston where he oversaw the production of mechanical
files and manufacturing of point-of-sale, marketing
collateral, annual reports and environmental graphics
for clients including Harmon Consumer Group, JBL,
Digital, London Fog, Citizens Bank, Fleet Bank.
In 1996, Patrick joined MetaDesign in San Francisco
as a project manager and interaction designer.
Projects included software and website interface
design with a focus on branding with interaction.
In addition he managed corporate and brand identity
design projects. Clients included DataFusion,
Meeting Center, Scudder, Channelpoint, ClearStation,
Ernst & Young, Digital Stock, Netscape, IDEO.
Prior to joining Method in September 1999, Patrick
was working at Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager
for the national e-commerce audit and advisory
business service unit. He was extensively involved
in the development of DealSpace, a web-based document
management service for capital market transactions
as well as launching the E&Y Center for Trust
Online. He was a Center for Strategic Transactions
SME for e-commerce branding, providing strategic
consulting to CEOs and CFOs. Clients included
Packard Bell, Beyond.com, Amazon.com, DrugEmporium,
CMDG, SendMail, Henson Productions, A&E, Destination.com,
Omnicell.
